Jaquis Barden is a 3rd grade student at Kenansville Elementary School. The 3rd-grade teachers say Jaquis has worked hard to improve his reading this year and he has succeeded! Jaquis would like to be a football player when he grows up. He says DCS is preparing him for this goal by helping him learn to read, do math, and learn about science. Jaquis’ favorite subject is reading and he says KES is very special because the teachers and staff help him learn to read.
